Learn how to preserve your memories, photos and videos in your own archive with the team who created the International Bomber Command Centre’s Digital Archive.

The team, from the University of Lincoln has digitally preserved documents and artefacts from all over the world, as well as recording interviews to create an oral history of those who lived through the bombing war. The archive is free to use and ensures that the story of Bomber Command from all sides of the war is preserved and accessible for future generations.

This free drop-in workshop at Riseholme Hall will give you a behind the scenes glimpse at how the IBBC archive was created as the team introduce you to the basics of setting up your own archive, from the tools you will need through to how to digitise photos.

The workshop is free to attend and suitable for all ages. Refreshments will be provided.
