There’s nothing more certain that spring is just around the corner than lots of lambs starting to arrive in the fields…….
So after several wet, cold winter months, everyone at Rand Farm Park looks forward to bringing new life in to the world and this year there are lots of ewes expecting to lamb during February and March. Some of the sheep that have been on the farm over the winter are expected to lamb in time for the February half term holidays but the main batch will arrive here at Rand for our two lambing weekends on 29th February/1st March and 14th and 15th March 2020.
There will also be daily opportunities to bottle feed our cade lambs at 11:30am, 1:30pm and 3:30pm every day!
February Half Term will also mark the beginning of our Spring/Summer visitor season and Family favourites such as Skyrider and Archery will be open again (weather permitting) from Saturday 15th February.

Bailgate Deli, in Lincoln's historic Cathedral Quarter, is a vegan and vegetarian café and deli. Our food is almost entirely made in-house. The menu includes standard items such as a full vegan breakfast and a mezzanine plate added to by daily specials (we're passionate about cooking and love making new dishes).
Through the day we serve great coffee, proper hot chocolate and lots of other drinks. Cakes and savouries are made daily. We know how to make a good gluten free pastry for a steady flow of tarts with vegan fillings. Our deli shelves have many of the staples needed in good plant based cooking. Our chiller cabinet always has a range of great salads. Most days of the week you can find Welbeck's properly made bread.
The café is small but doubles in size during the summer as we spill out on to the pavement!
