The Lincoln Collection museum and gallery will host a special collection to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the births of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.

The Collection Museum and the Usher Gallery will be home to treasures from London’s Victoria and Albert (V&A) Museum as well as the National Portrait Gallery from October 5 to January 5 (2020).

You'll be able to see the first-ever Christmas card, paintings by Sir Edwin Henry Landseer, Queen Victoria's favourite artist and chief portraitist of the Royal family, and, the unique 12th-century Gloucester Candlestick.

Kine is a modern vibrant restaurant serving food inspired from around the world using locally sourced ingredients.

Kine started as a burger pop-up restaurant in and around Lincoln and grew into an established restaurant in 2018.

Offering a small but refined ever changing menu and lively atmosphere Kine aim to bring something a little different to dining experiences in Lincoln. 

Tucked into the corner of Castle Hill square, between the Cathedral and the Castle, you'll find the Lincoln Tourist Information office which contains a beautiful gift shop with all things Lincoln and Lincolnshire - even some wonderful handpicked London souvenirs.

The Lincoln gift shop contains postcards, magnets, books, guides, tea towels, mugs, keyrings, stationery, toys, local produce and more.

Music, Entertainment and fun from 4:45pm with the big switch on at (drum roll.....) 6:30pm. Hosting is LincsFMs very own John Marshall and for the Swtich On you'll see on stage the cast of Lincoln's Christmas Panto from The Drill Hall, who this year are performing Cinderella (Ohhh yes they are...).

Also starting at 4:45pm with a procession including the mayor at 6:40pm and the big switch on at 7:10pm, so for the very keen, you can see both if you hurry! The high street entertainment is hosted by BBC Radio Lincolnshire and the switch on itself is hosted by none other than the lovely Melinda Messenger, who is starring in this years New Theatre Royal panto of Robin Hood.

Dancing, Singing and performances/entertainment will also be held in Lincoln's Waterside Shopping centre from 6pm. There will be an opportunity to meet Melinda Messenger (autographs and photos) too!

Now in it’s 140th year, The Lincolnshire Show is one of our county’s flagship events and truly has something for each of our 60,000 visitors to enjoy.

Advance tickets are priced at £26 for an adult, £8.50 for children, and £62 for a family of 5. Under 5's go free.

Lincoln Cathedral is truly majestic and brings tens of thousands of visitors to the city each year. It is one of Englands most notable Cathedrals with a rich history and many stories to tell.

The IBCC opened to the public for the first time on the 30th January 2018. The site includes the UK's tallest War Memorial, The Spire, which stands out on Lincoln's skyline at 31.09m tall, the same height as the wingspan of a Lancaster Bomber.

The Spire is surrounded by curved walls which carry the names of 57,871 men and women who gave their lives whilst in the service of Bomber Command during WW2. The Spire is set in 10 acres of landscaped peace gardens, one which represents Lincolnshire's contribution to the war and one that recognizes the involvement of 62 nations in Bomber Command.

The Chadwick Centre provides all our visitor facilities and hosts three exhibition galleries covering our core themes of Recognition, Remembrance and Reconciliation. There is also an education suite and facilities for corporate hospitality.
