Bransby Horses is one of the UK's largest equine welfare charities in the UK, entirely funded by generous donations from the public. They are dedicated to improving the lives of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules and were first started in 1968 by Mr. Peter Hunt.
They have rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed thousands of equines who have had a difficult and sometimes very traumatic start in life and they are working harder than ever to continue making a positive difference to equines wherever and whenever they can.
At their site in Lincolnshire, they have more than 400 animals in their care, which keeps them very busy all year round. The site, just 8 miles from Lincoln, is open to the public 362 days a year and is a great day out for all the family.
