Nature, Parks & Outdoors

Dating back to 1870, the Lincoln Arboretum park is a Grade II listed public park, beautifully laid out and maintained by The City of Lincoln Council.

The public park contains a fun maze that is popular with children, along with a play park or playground at the top of the Arboretum, with wooden castle, slide, swing boat and more for various ages and abilities.

Near the entrance, the park contains a magnificant traditional bankstand, colourful, vibrant and still in use for events and festivals that happen throughout the year. Walk around the various pathways, enjoy the large stone lion, various ponds and water features, Lincoln's only palm tree(!) and some lovely bridges.

If all that has you in need of refreshment, just by the entrance is the parks own café.
